29 Executive Meeting held at Lok Bhawan, Dehradun

The 29th Executive Meeting of the Uttarakhand State Council for Child Welfare was successfully held at Raj Bhawan. The meeting was conducted in the esteemed presence of the Secretary to the Governor of Uttarakhand, adding significance to the proceedings.

The meeting brought together key members of the Executive Committee to review the Council’s ongoing initiatives and discuss future plans aimed at promoting child welfare across the state. Various important agendas were taken up, including the expansion of child development programs, improvement in educational and recreational activities, and strengthening outreach efforts in remote areas of Uttarakhand.

State Level Painting Competition At Bal Bhawan

On 28 March 2026, the Uttarakhand State Council for Child Welfare organized a State-Level Painting Competition at Bal Bhawan, Tarla Aamwala, Raipur Road, Dehradun.

The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Ritu Khanduri, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Students of Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya presented a cultural program, including Saraswati Vandana and a welcome song.

The General Secretary, Mrs. Pushpa Manas, welcomed the Chief Guest and presented a memento. A total of 60 participants from various districts of Uttarakhand took part in the competition. Out of them, 16 students were awarded prizes in different categories.

Today, March 8, 2026, “International Women’s Day 2026” was celebrated at Bal Bhavan. The program began with the lighting of lamps by Senior Vice President Mr. Jagdish Babla, Vice President Mrs. Madhuberi, General Secretary Mrs. Pushpa Manas, former General Secretary Mr. Bal Krishna Dobhal, Executive Member Mrs. Asha Rani Painuli, Mr. Mohan Singh Khatri, Mr. Anandmani Semwal, Mrs. Kavita Dutta, and other distinguished women.
