Inviting Applications for Motherless and Fatherless Students by the Council for the year 2025-26

Uttarakhand State Child Welfare Council, Dehradun organizes various programmes for the education, health, skill development, security and all-round development of the children of the state, especially those belonging to economically weaker and helpless sections.

This year also, Uttarakhand State Child Welfare Council, Dehradun is providing educational assistance to motherless and fatherless students studying in government and aided non-government schools, who are not getting educational assistance from other sources.

In reference to the above-mentioned subject, you are requested to please inform such students studying from class 6 to class 12 in your district-

(1) Those who are without both parents or have neither mother nor father.

(2) Who are not receiving any kind of educational assistance from other sources.

(3) Students who have secured 60 per cent or more marks in the previous year’s examination.

Please send the name of the student along with full details and last year’s mark sheet, photocopy of motherless-fatherless certificate, complete address of the school, Pin code in the enclosed format to the Council office through the Principal by the prescribed date.

Therefore, it is requested that you take personal interest in this matter and kindly instruct the Block Education Officers of the district at your level to also instruct the Principals of their blocks to collect the application forms of the concerned students of their school and send them together by 15 September 2025 to the office of the Council – Uttarakhand State Child Welfare Council “Bal Bhawan” Amwala Tarla, Nanurkheda, Raipur Road, Dehradun-248008 by registered post. Application forms can also be submitted personally in the Council office on any working day till the prescribed date.

79th Independence Day

Today, on 15th August, 2025, 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at ‘Bal Bhawan’ of Uttarakhand State Child Welfare Council, Dehradun at Aamwala Tarla, Nanurkheda, Dehradun. The national flag was hoisted by Shri Jagdish Babla, Senior Vice President of the Council. General Secretary Smt. Pushpa Manas extended best wishes to the countrymen.

Senior Vice President of the Council, Shri Jagdish Babla told that under such difficult circumstances we got independence. Who knows how many sacrifices our mothers and sisters have made. He said that we should also help in the development of our country.

General Secretary of the Council, Mrs. Pushpa Manas said that we have got independence, we have to walk shoulder to shoulder with the nation through good deeds, only then our nation will progress. The program was conducted by the General Secretary of the Council, Mrs. Pushpa Manas.

On this occasion, former General Secretary Mr. Balkrishna Dobhal, Mrs. Kusum Lata Kuthari, Mr. Anandmani Semwal, Mrs. Kavita Dutta, Mr. Narayan Singh Rana, Mrs. Bavita, Mrs. Suman, Professor Mr. Vimal Kumar Mishra and students of various schools participated.
